Our Performance:

9Sp and 9Hh performed Your Welcome from Moana on Thursday 12th, 2018.

What have I learned? I have learned that Ava has great dance moves.

How does this work show my learning? It shows our understanding of Musical Theatre.

What did I find most challenging? The most challenging part of the performance was having the confidence to sing especially when you are under pressure you tend to sometimes forget the words.

What would I do differently if I did this again? I would make up some choreography and only do the project with 9Hh.

Act Three, Scene One

1. Why does Shylock assume Solanio and Salerio know of Jessica’s flight? He knows that Lorenzo is with her. He thinks that Solanio and Salerio helped Jessica escape because they are friends with Lorenzo.

2. What is the second suggestion of misfortune for Antonio- find a quote.

That there is a rumour about another one of his boats sunk because it went past a place that's known for having a lot of shipwrecks. "Why, yet it lives there unchecked that Antonio hath a ship of rich lading wracked
on the narrow seas. The Goodwins I think they call the place—a very dangerous flat,
and fatal, where the carcasses of many a tall ship lie buried"

3. Who has been looking for Lorenzo and Jessica, how do we know?

Tubal has been getting information about where Jessica is and has been reporting back to Shylock.

4. Where do Shylock and Tubal arrange to meet and with what purpose?

Because she wants him to choose right. He is way better and nicer

then everyone else.

If Portia and Bassanio got married Gratiano and Nerissa will as well.

3. How does Portia know that the letter contains bad news?

Bassanio is turning pale.

4. What help does Portia offer straightaway?

Permission to give him double the amount of money if not accepted triple the amount.

5. Why do we not expect this help to be successful?

As Jessica said

That he would rather have Antonio’s flesh

Than twenty times the value of the sum

That he did owe him.
