Prohibited sign

This is a sign warning us to not get distracted while using a machine.

In the picture, there is a person using a machine. While the machine on he gets distracted from something happening behind them. The person then slices his hand with the automatic saw.

This is a Prohibited sign. A prohibited sign tells us what not to do.

There are also other safety signs, for example, a Hazard and a Mandatory sign.

This sign means that you should be cautious about your surroundings because you can slip at any time. 

Mandatory 

(Tells us what we must have)

Must have boots.

Meaning something heavy or chemicals can fall on my feet.
