Our Labour Party

It is 2018 and the Labour party (Reipa) is in charge of New Zealand. Once every three years, traditionally in November. The Government makes decisions and they do a load of projects such as building roads and houses/buildings.

The Leader of the Labour party is Jacinda Ardern and her deputy leader is Kelvin Davis. The Labour party has about 55MPs. Their party's colour is Red. The Labour party established in 1916. New Zealand is a democratic country in which the Members of Parliament (MPs) are chosen in free and fair elections. Citizens and permanent residents who are aged 18 years and over are required to enrol to vote. Voting is not compulsory. Government: Constitutional monarchy, Parliamentary system, Unitary state.


Their policy, housing, Health, clean rivers, transport, education, Jobs and Innovation Fixing metal health, Strengthening our identity, Climate change policy, Paid parental leave, Tertiary Education, Immigration policy, Community safety, Vision for Canterbury, Tourism & Conservation, Sport and Recreation, etc.

 Labour will be our government for at least 2 more years until the next election where there might be a different government in charge.
