Dictatorship

A dictator is a political leader who possesses absolute power. These people do not like to share
leadership of a country or state. Dictators are usually stubborn/strict, they don't like agreeing on an
idea or likes changing their decisions that easily. A dictator can megalomaniacal, some can also be
narcissistic.
All dictators are well organized and well-known. They all share a talent of being able to persuade a
person or nearly a country/state/city. The dictators can be very intelligent. Some may be known as
masterminds. They can easily persuade and trick others and make strong decisions correctly.

Example of an Intelligent Dictator-

Joseph Stalin
  • Came from absolute poverty with a brute of a father.
  • Manipulated Lenin into believing he was "that lovely Georgian".
  • Outplayed all of the Bolsheviks against each other (Many of the Bolsheviks were exceptionally intelligent, people such as Trotsky and Lenin so this is saying something)
  • Got most of Russia to revere him.
  • Arguably outsmarted FDR, either that or FDR was just naive about Stalin's true character.
Franco
  • Worked his way up through Spanish military.
  • Convinced Germany and Italy to help him in Spanish Civil War
  • Arguably a military genius
  • Outsmarted Hitler by not joining in WW2
  • Kept Spain neutral and was thus Spain was the only Fascist country to profit out of WW2.

A wonderful example of a good dictator is Hosni Mubarak of Egypt. He accepted billions in U.S. military aid and didn't attack Israel. He conducted fraudulent elections, allowed only government-controlled trade unions, muzzled the press and jailed dissidents, subjecting them to horrific torture.
